Listing comments for a stream

Text.

The text of the comment. Double-click the text to change the ﬁel d to an editab le text box.

Links.

The name of the node to which the comment is attached . If this ﬁeld is e mpty, the comment

applies t o the stream.

Positioning buttons.

These move a selected comment up or down in the list.

Comment Colors.

To change the foreground or b ackground color of a comment, s elect the com ment,

select the Custom colors check box, then sele ct a color from the Background or Foreground l is t (or

both). Click Apply, then click the stream background, to see the effect of the change. Click OK

to save th e change.

Converting Annotations to Comments

Annotations made to streams or SuperNodes can be converted into comments.

In the case of streams, the annotation is conve r ted to a freestanding c omment (that is, it is not

attache d to any nodes) on the stream canvas.

When a Sup erNode annotatio n is converted to a comment, the comment i s not attached to the

SuperNode on the stre am canvas, but is visibl e when you zoom in to the Super Node.

To convert a stream annotation to a comment

E Click Stream Properties on the Tools menu. (Alternatively, you can right-click a stream in the

managers pan e and click Stream Properties.)
