(1) These numbers reflect an approximate average yield that has
been established for each supply item indicated based on
5% coverage. These yields are not a guarantee of minimum
life and are not covered under warranty, but are provided to
assist in supplies planning. Actual usage should be used to
establish the life of the supply product in each end users
specific application. Many factors, such as print coverage
per page, paper type and size, model type, and
environmental conditions can affect supply life.
Declared yield value in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752.
The approximate average yields are not a warranty or
guarantee of minimum life, and are provided to assist in
initial supplies planning. Actual usage should be used to
establish the supplys life in the end users application.

All maintenance supplies are customer installable.
Installation services are available at IBMs current
billable service rate for this product, with a one-hour
minimum. The maintenance kits must be purchased
separately by the customer before contacting IBM for
installation.
Supply warranties are only for defects in materials and
workmanship at the time of shipment and installation.
They are not for print count life or normal wear and tear,
nor for any print count minimum. Contact your place of
purchase for warranty return instructions.
IBM is committed to environmentally conscious programs
for printer supplies. A collection program for used printer
cartridges has been established and return instructions
are included in the supply item packaging, with free return
shipping.
End users can contact IBM for the name of an IBM reseller
in their area where IBM printing supplies can be
purchased. Resellers can order IBM printing supplies
through IBM in Asia Pacific.

This product uses the security and auditability features
of the host hardware, host software, and application
software.
The customer is responsible for evaluation, selection, and
implementation of security features, administrative
procedures, and appropriate controls in application
systems and communications facilities.

Warranty service
If required, IBM provides repair or exchange service
depending on the types of warranty service specified for
the machine. IBM will attempt to resolve your problem
over the telephone, or electronically via an IBM Web site.
You must follow the problem determination and resolution
procedures that IBM specifies. Scheduling of service will
depend upon the time of your call and is subject to parts
availability. If applicable to your product, parts
considered Customer Replaceable Units (CRUs) will be
provided as part of the machines standard warranty
service.
Service levels are response-time objectives and are not
guaranteed. The specified level of warranty service may
not be available in all worldwide locations. Additional
charges may apply outside IBMs normal service area.
Contact your local IBM representative or your reseller for
country- and location-specific information. This product
is covered by the following types of service.
CRU service and On-site for other selected parts.
CRU service:
IBM provides replacement CRUs to you for
you to install. CRU information and replacement
instructions are shipped with your machine and are
available from IBM upon your request. CRUs are
designated as being either a Tier 1 or a Tier 2 CRU.
Tier 1 CRU
Installation of Tier 1 CRUs is your responsibility. If IBM
installs a Tier 1 CRU at your request, you will be charged
for the installation.
